Job Description

Job Title: Field Care Supervisor Location: Yeovil Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Field-based role) Salary: Starting from £24,375, dependent on experience Contract Type: Full-time

Eligibility Requirement: This role is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the nature of the care provided. Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar job role.

Internal Relationships

· Accountable to the Branch Manager

· Clinical supervision provided by the Senior Care Co-ordinator / Registered Branch Manager

· Works closely with care workers and Nurses Group Homecare office staff

External Relationships

· Clients

· Families, relatives, and carers

· GPs and District Nurses

· Multi-disciplinary teams

Job Purpose

· Act as an ambassador for Nurses Group Homecare, ensuring clients receive high-quality care and support

· Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams regarding care support and equipment

· Induct and train new care staff and provide ongoing training for established carers

· Carry out regular spot checks to ensure care is safe, caring, responsive, and effective

· Provide flexible care support to cover sickness, holidays, or to initiate new care packages

· Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota

Main Duties General Standards

· Maintain a professional approach at all times

· Adhere to Nurses Group Homecare and Local Authority policies and procedures

· Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information

· Report any concerns to the Branch Manager or relevant senior staff

Quality Assurance

· Conduct spot checks to monitor care quality and provide feedback to senior management

· Support the implementation of quality assurance processes

· Assist carers with health and safety concerns within the community

Care and Support

· Provide telephone support to clients and care staff

· Oversee the delivery of care services

· Deliver direct care when required, in line with care worker responsibilities

· Support new clients during onboarding when care workers are unavailable

Deputy Manager – Homecare/Domiciliary(Clinical Role)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager with a minimum of 6 months’ experience in domiciliary care coordination. This is a clinical role, responsible for overseeing care delivery in the community while supporting, supervising, and guiding care staff to ensure outstanding, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and manage weekly staff rotas, including last-minute changes and emergency cover

· Ensure consistent, high-quality care for all service users

· Support, supervise, and mentor care staff in the field

· Liaise effectively with clients, families, and external professionals

· Ensure compliance with CQC standards and Health & Safety regulations

· Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the service

What You’ll Need

· Minimum 6 months’ experience in a similar domiciliary/homecare coordination role

· NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)

· Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office

· Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills

· Full, clean UK driving licence

· Ability to work alternate weekends

Pay & Progression

· Starting salary: £28,000 per year
